The purpose of these courses is to develop English for professional purposes. Emphasis is places on communication skills for business in the area of speaking, and writing through readings and video clips. Every course is based on theoretical input followed by workshops and case studies.

This course looks at the formal and informal aspects of business. It concentrates on the oral and written aspects of Business English as well as exposure to authentic audio materials. Some of the themes covered are the business world, descriptions of companies, business progress, company history, telephone skills meeting skills and business plans.

This course also looks at the formal and informal aspects of business. It concentrates on the oral and written aspects of Business English as well as exposures to authentic audio materials. Some of the themes covered are overseas business travel, getting to meetings, socializing, explaining your culture, comparing workplaces and products, executive advice and business plans and predictions.

This course will look at the skills needed to function in a business environment with a focus on speaking, listening and writing skills as well as vocabulary building in the areas of Human Resources. Specific topics covered include: Process, team work, corporate goals, customers' motivation and advertising.

This course develops fluency through audio & video case studies, as well as themes related to the Financial Times and the World Business Newspaper. Emphasis is also placed on authentic readings and discussion in order to develop accuracy and vocabulary enhancement. Some of the themes are marketing, selling online, great ideas, stress management, and entertaining.

Aspects such as Stress management, Marketing strategies, Negotiation skills and Globalization will be studied. All topics will be presented and discussed using the four skills of Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking.

This course requires participants to develop their business knowledge through, readings, discussions and case studies. The use of authentic video clips and Financial Times articles will enable real world practical activities.
