Community Out-Reach
The Community Out-Reach Club is a group of students who reach out to help the unprivileged, their annual events include giving our food care packages during the Holy Month of Ramadan, Blanket, Heater and Jacket drives in the winter, and “Project House”, a project dedicated to reconstructing the homes of unprivileged people. Their projects also included volunteering for the King Hussein Cancer Foundation by inviting Cancer patients on campus for luncheons, games, and raising funds for cancer research.
![]() King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) Siwar Club
This year has been a tremendous year for NYIT Jordan when it comes to philanthropy and communities out-reach both on and off campus. NYIT has done a lot of work for the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) under the umbrella of their volunteers “Siwar Team”, their work included the Siwar Road Show, which was held in March, the road show raises awareness about Breast Cancer through volunteers who stood at awareness booths and distributed educational brochures and pink ribbons.
![]() Environmental Out-Reach
The Environmental Club is founded to raise awareness on air pollution, water conservation, power conservation, garbage and recycling, plants and going green. Like the Student Marketing Team the environmental club will be visiting local high schools in Amman to raise awareness on the topics. They will also be launching a huge recycling project on and off campus.
