Office of the Executive Chairman

The forces driving the changes experienced around the globe are clear. Heavy reliance on new technology, especially related to information and computerization is one of the major factors causing this change.

Therefore the ability to adapt, innovate, and move quickly is extremely vital. In this millennium, the most successful economies will be those that prove most effective in technology, and delivering quality brains. Human resources will matter most. lt.

Jordan is responding to the challenges and is emerging as a leader in the Arab world and then beyond in the huge leaps it is taking towards building a strong based technological economy. All efforts are guided by His Majesty King Abdullah who embraces a global vision and can reasonably aspire to world-class standard of excellence.

Multi-accredited, New York Institute of Technology operating year round and providing career oriented undergraduate and graduate programs for men and women from all walks of life; has effectively met Jordan’s vision for the future in all technological and business development aspects. The active and sustained government support is of immeasurable value to NYIT-Jordan, namely in terms of the facilities provided

by the Jordan University of Science and Technology and the accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education.

NYiT Jordan strongly believes that the Graduate and undergraduate programs it offers should noticeably add value to develop a vibrant,export-oriented IT services sector paving the way for Jordan to become a regional leader and internationally recognized provider to IT products and services. Not to mention our graduating managers with global exposure, technological sophistication and entrepreneurial mindset with a career- charging MBA, the world’sacknowledged benchmark for advanced business skills.

With all of my best wishes for a prosperous future as Jordan’s skill base continues to deepen and widen.

Dr. Mohammed Hussein.

Executive Chairman of the Middle East, NYIT
