Class Schedule for Spring 2011
All enrolled students have an active academic advisor, whose role is to help each of you make the appropriate course choices consistent with your academic and professional goals. Before you can formally register, you first must schedule a meeting with your academic advisor, who must then sign off on your course selection. The Registrar will not enter your course request form into the University data base without your advisor’s signature. Keep in mind that your advisor must also sign off on add and drop requests. Individual course instructors must also sign off on courses added during the first week of the semester. It is highly recommended that you sign up for your courses as early as possible to ensure that your advisor has time to meet with you and to ensure that you can enroll in the course(s) you wish. Once closed, the Registrar may or may not add another section. Students who register late often must take alternative courses. (In general, class size is limited by room size, although some classes for pedagogical reasons have lower caps, e.g., writing.) |
